AWS and Nobl9 Provide Quick and Easy SLO Monitoring

Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus (AMP) is a fully managed service for monitoring containerized applications and infrastructure at scale. Built on the open-source Prometheus, AMP is designed explicitly for metrics collection and alerting in cloud-native environments. It offers secure, scalable metrics monitoring, automatically handling ingestion, querying, and storage, making it ideal for large-scale Kubernetes and container environments. AMP’s flexibility with PromQL, a query language used for time series data, allows teams to filter, aggregate, and analyze metrics efficiently, which aids in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.

Nobl9 elevates Prometheus by converting these collected metrics into clear, actionable Service Level Objectives (SLOs). While Prometheus gathers a vast amount of data, knowing how to prioritize what affects user experience is vital. Nobl9 takes this complexity out of the equation by allowing teams to focus on the performance indicators that matter most—such as uptime, request latency, or throughput—making reliability efforts more targeted and effective.
